For our hospital account team in Novartis Oncology, we are looking for an experienced Hospital Business Lead to join us on our journey towards a new standard for strategic account management. You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of account strategies, innovative partnerships and contract business plans.
Together with our experienced team of hospital account managers you will run strategic account plans to optimize patient access in the major Dutch hospitals. With a strong analytical mindset you lead our engagement with key decision makers. This will include the development of stakeholder engagement plans, project management and contract negotiations, with the purpose of expanding on our value-adding partnerships and achieve successful patient access for our innovative product pipeline.
You are a door-opener and as an excellent communicator, you build effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both pharmacists, payers, KOLs and other decision-makers and shape the best partnerships for Novartis and the local positioning of our products.
Internally in Novartis, you participate actively in our cross-functional brand teams and ensure the optimal alignment of strategies account plans with the other business areas of our operations.
In addition, you bring insights about our customers to Novartis by proactively identifying and communicating changes and trends in the external environment and in the challenges and needs of our accounts, their decision-makers and their local stakeholders.
Academic degree in Pharma, Healthcare sciences, Economics or similar;
At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in the pharma industry preferable in strategic account management, field access, pricing or contracting role in oncology;
Advanced communication and presentation skills;
High standards for project management;
In-depth knowledge of the Dutch healthcare landscape and experience in working with the most typical stakeholders;
Excellent in building customer relation with a strong negotiation and persuasive attitude;
Team player with a sense for cross-functional success;
Creative and curious in identifying innovative partnerships with concrete win-win outcomes.
Excellent understanding of Pharma product pricing & reimbursement processes;
Strong skills in market analysis and analytics – fast learner in working with digital tools and data;
Fluent in Dutch and good in English (oral and written);
