What does the job entail - What does your day look like?
The programmatic team in Amsterdam is part of the Video and Display Crafts, that consist of digital specialists across Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Sittard. The team is working for Xaxis and Greenhouse, on clients of our three media agencies. As a Programmatic Specialist, you will work for the biggest brands in The Netherlands. You will get your own set of clients for which you are responsible. You advise clients on YouTube, programmatic video, audio, display and/or native solutions, and you develop integrated programmatic media plans. Further, you manage (international) campaigns and optimize these towards your main KPI. The data-geek in you enjoys analyzing data, in order to take your campaigns to the next level. You’ll be using the most advanced advertising technology in the market, including an internally developed AI optimization tool, a DMP and several dashboards. Afterwards, you draw clear conclusions and share your recommendations with the client in a professional manner. You are also co-responsible for developing and promoting innovative solutions in the field of programmatic within GroupM, Greenhouse, the media agencies, and our clients. You can think of things such as CTV, artificial intelligence (AI), advertising in and around gaming, cookieless planning, or interactive and dynamic creatives. So, there is plenty of challenge for everyone!
What do we expect from you?
You are responsible for developing integrated programmatic media plans on a tactical level. Your plans could include different YouTube formats, multiple programmatic video formats, programmatic audio, display or native.
You advise our clients and media agencies on programmatic solutions, based on their KPI. You proactively propose new formats and innovations.
You are the first point of contact for our media agency for all substantive and operational questions on your own clients.
You are responsible for a smooth process during the campaign and for customer satisfaction.
You are responsible for the guidance of one or multiple Campaign Managers.
With your DSP and platform knowledge, you optimize your campaigns towards the best possible results and ensure you achieve the campaigns' objectives.
You convert trends from the market and needs from the media agency into proposals, taking into account learnings from previous campaigns.
You work on projects and innovations that help us to be the frontrunner in the industry.
What does the team look like?
The team of 30 digital specialists in Amsterdam consists of Strategists, Team Leads, Specialists, Campaign Managers, and the Tech, Supply, and Data Lead. The Programmatic Specialist works in an agency team; either the Wavemaker, Mindshare or MediaCom team. The agency team consists of Campaign Managers, Specialists, a Team Lead and a Strategist. The Programmatic Specialists report hierarchically to the Team Lead.

What are the requirements?
Minimum of 2 years work experience in online advertising or ad tech.
Experience with programmatic buying.
Operational programmatic DSP (e.g. DV360, Xandr, Amazon) knowledge is required. Additional platform knowledge (DMP, Google Ads) is a pre.
Good command of English is required.
HBO or WO education level.
We’re looking for a team player and an initiator; someone who is result-oriented, customer-focused, quality-oriented, and persuasive.
Familiarity with the services of media agencies.
