    Group Sales Executive

    NH Hotel Group manages an international chain of more than 400 hotels, with top city destinations such as, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bogotá, Brussels, Buenos Aires, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Milan, München, New York, Rome and Vienna.

    We are one of the Groups & Event Management Offices of Business Unit Northern Europe, with other offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Vienna and Madrid. Where can you find our office? In Amsterdam! Just on the other side of the IJ in NH Amsterdam Noord. Being part of our team means working in an informal, challenging and international working environment.

    What are you going to do?
    As a Group Sales Executive you are the first point of contact for anyone who makes a business request for one of our hotels in The Netherlands, such as NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, nhow Rotterdam, NH Den Haag or, for example, the yet to be opened nhow Amsterdam RAI. It can be a request for 10 rooms but also a multi-day conference for more than 700 participants. Each request is unique and it is up to you, mainly by telephone and e-mail, to find out all about the wishes and needs so that you can prepare the best offer. During the quotation process you are strategically alert, as you, our team and the revenue managers strive for the highest possible occupancy and best-selling strategy. Up- and cross-selling is also a challenging aspect of this job!

    It is up to you to get the booking confirmed so you will have to follow up on your options and negotiate so that the client confirms the booking. Once signed, you hand the booking over to one of our colleagues who will coordinate the further details. This is not up to you; you are already busy converting new business groups.

    • You have a strong personality and get a kick from negotiating
    • You are ambitious and want to achieve optimal results
    • You feel comfortable in a busy and demanding working environment
    • You rock in multi-tasking; as you need to manage several groups at the same time
    • You know how to manage your time efficiently
    • You have fluent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
    • Finally, we find it important that you are social. We love a drink and a bite and therefore often visit one of our hotels. Of course, it would be fun if you would join us!
