    Most importantly, you enjoy welcoming people and get energised by doing so. You gained experience working with direct customer contact in the field of customer services, hospitality business or other service businesses in a multicultural environment.

    You have excellent social skills with a high level of accessibility; you are service minded, helpful, structured and proactive. You communicate confidently in English and preferably also in Dutch, both written and spoken. You are an open-minded team player who enjoys working in a diverse, complex, vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

    You have worked with multiple computer applications, preferably Office 365, in your daily work and perceive technology as an enabler.

    You take ownership of your deliverables with speed and simplicity, always looking at ways to improve processes and increase efficiency, keeping our culture and values at heart.
    You are passionate about providing excellent services, striving for excellence and high performance and you get energised by thinking and appreciating to take responsibility in daily operations.     We are looking for a Greeter who will ensure a positive and welcoming experience for co-workers and visitors alike. The Greeter is the first contact for everyone entering the building, making them feel at home and providing them with any information, guidance or support needed. Being part of a dynamic environment, you contribute to establishing and improving ways of working and support in a big variety of hands-on tasks.
    You will achieve this by offering a great service level in all contacts with co-workers and visitors and by providing fast and customer-friendly solutions for all incoming questions or requests.

    Your main responsibilities will be to:

    • Make co-workers and visitors feel welcome and well taken care of at our Startbox/Reception, be the first line contact for any question or request and take action - in person, on the phone, via Teams Chat or mail.
    • Secure high-quality standards and excellence in operations for the Startbox/Reception tasks.
    • Plan, prepare and facilitate Welcome Tours for new employees to provide them with an effective location introduction and other practical information.
    • Make sure that the whole entrance area is welcoming, well maintained, clean and tidy, supplies and all needed information/communication are available and up to date.
    • Secure that all general co-worker and visitor information provided physically or digitally is up to date.
    • Plan and coordinate inspiring and relevant physical and digital activities and events mirroring our yearly calendar of business events, a strong culture and values agenda, health and wellbeing and togetherness in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement by actively seeking and acting upon any feedback or needs addressed by our co-workers or visitors.
    • Be part of the first aid and rescue team, take duty responsibility for daily operations when scheduled and support other areas of Workplace Support, when cross-functional support or collaboration is needed.
    • Anticipate change and adapt daily processes in a constantly evolving environment.


    Some would call us administrative magicians, but in our team we just keep track of things and enjoy helping people to do what they do better and faster, with less fuss and fewer hitches. We plan the events and manage the guest lists, and we keep offices, processes and organisations running smoothly.


    You will divide your time between our Amsterdam (Houthavens) and Leiden offices. You will report to Chantal Schrama, Workplace Operations Manager.

    We offer 24-38 hours per week contracts, with a preference for a full time contract.
    Working times can vary and we expect them to be between 07:30 and 18:00, Monday through Friday.
