You’ll be responsible for the execution of digital and print design, working closely with the Creative Director, sr. Art Director, and internal teams to translate concepts and content into high-end assets and (digital) experiences.
MR MARVIS is active in many different channels (Web, Email Marketing, Online Advertising, Social Media, Print, OOH, TV) in various markets, which means there’s a lot of content that needs to be tailored to these channels/markets. Our ideal candidate has a broad set of skills and experience and likes to work on many different creative projects. Our sustainable shorts are handmade in Portugal, the materials (fabrics, buttons, labels) are locally sourced and carefully selected on their premium qualities. Since we sell directly to our customers, we’re avoiding high retail markups, delivering a high-quality product at a fair price.
Design creatives and designs in collaboration with our online teams (performance marketing, email marketing, website) with high performing ‘on-brand’ creatives;
Together with the creative team you will design our summer and winter campaigns into digital, print and OOH formats;
All other design related activities, including - for example - packaging design, designing the ‘MR MARVIS Manual’ (magazine like insert for every order), all design work for our brick and mortar stores, label design for our shorts, and many more;
Work on collaborations and brand activations;
Guard brand consistency throughout various content types;
Building a brand style guide and writing creative briefs for external creatives
and production agencies;
Manage (external) creatives and ensure they produce at the high standard you set.
What we expect from you..
2+ years of experience in a similar role at a digital-focussed company;
You are fun to work with and a true team player;
Creative thinking and the ability to execute concepts and designs flawlessly;
A kick-ass online portfolio, containing examples of print- and digital design;
Experience in E-Commerce is a strong plus;
Experience in digital design tools like Figma/Sketch/XD is a plus;
Fluency in English (written and verbal).
