What we’re looking for

Are you interested to learn about everything it takes to create a brand? Join the Fairphone Brand team and experience how we create our visual identity, social media posts, videos and digital ads. Your main tasks require basic design skills, so we are looking for someone who specifically wants to grow in the field of graphic/visual design and video content.

Some tasks you can expect (examples):

Create banners for social media with Rae and Sharon. Design a brochure for our Commercial team in 8 languages with Kim. Edit a short video with Jan. Arrange a product shoot with a photographer. Send out Fairphones for PR with Ioiana.

• You take initiative and see opportunities where others might see issues and like to solve things through creative thinking.
• You have the ability to integrate yourself in the work environment of a young company that is fast paced and determined by constant change, meaning you are flexible, but extremely detail-oriented.
• You embrace diversity in thoughts, opinions, and backgrounds and feel good working with many nationalities in a multicultural environment.
• You are self-motivated and have a positive attitude.

• You live in the Netherlands.

• Support our visual designer with the creation and maintenance of our visual identity (logo, font, colour, illustration, photography, icons, animation, user interface design).
• Create assets such as: presentations, social media banners, brochures, webpages, product shots, digital ads and packaging artwork.

• Support our content manager with the creation of video content for channels like Youtube, Facebook and our own website.

• You study graphic design, multimedia design, marketing, branding or another relevant study program.
  

• You have a portfolio that shows your interest in graphic design.
• You are familiar with design software (such as Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Sketch) on at least a basic level. Photography, video editing and animation skills are a plus.
• You have a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• You are hands-on, organized and have great planning skills.
• You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. German, French, Dutch or any other European language is a plus.
