    Goods Flow Project Lead Logistic Infrastructure

    Job Mission

    Continuously improve, secure and standardize goods flow processes, including integration within SAP and other IT tooling. Enable and support effective and efficient execution in cooperation with the line management. Network design, supported by logistic infrastructure simulation tooling, enables our organization prediction of new or improved global logistic infrastructure considering the related customer, supplier, and ASML related boundaries, business requirements. Understanding importance of compliance across the supply chain.
    Context of this position
    The LSO Goods Flowdepartment within ASML Supply Chain Management provides professional services to ensure a structured, controlled and transparent flow of goods through our logistic network. Beside providing an overall library of all ASML flow of goods, also change control as well as setup new flows , data analysis on key elements and continuous improvement to increase efficiency are also important tasks. You are competent to map logistic processes in a global network model, make real material movements processes visible in process mining and identify opportunities for improvements in performance and costs. Your input is used for process (re-) design and / or material flow standardization. You drive implementation projects independently and are a master in managing stakeholders.

    Job Description

    As a Goods Flow Project lead within the SCM LSO GF department, you are responsible for:
    • Developing and supplying analyses, knowledge and expertise on the department’s logisticsprocesses, and their implementation in SAP and other IT tools.
    • Maintaining data models needed for Goods Flow Network Design, Process Mining and Flow Analysis, including the related business and compliance requirements
    • Providing network design , process mining and logistic flow analysis on actual (ad-hoc) issues, to address structural improvements and based on request from PLM new program requirements
    • Implement projects across the network for all flow of goods
    • Point of contact for LSO GF to the PLM DUV, PLM EUV and PLM MPS within SCM and in other sectors to utilize existing data and network design infrastructure
    You will support the SCM department and you will work closely together with all relevant stakeholders throughout ASML, depending on your specific subjects. You will report to lead of LSO GF.


    Bachelor or Master in business engineering, industrial engineering, operational management, quality or logistics. Work experience can supplement specific education levels.


    • > 10 years’ experience in project management, conceptual network design and goods flow analysis within an operational,logistics, or engineering environment, preferably in a high-tech, low-volume production environment.
    • If ASML internal, preferred experience in operations, supply chain and/or procurement withlogistic infrastructure affinity and expertise.
    • Hands-on experience with continuous improvement based on lean principles and effective change management.
    • Knowledge of process design, process management, network design, data management, documentation and standardization .

    Context of the position

    The LSO Freight department is responsible to design, build and maintain the global logistics transportation network in line with customer requirements. A flawless distribution network is key for a smooth supply chain. Fast and flexible transportation networks, differentiated warehousing solutions and complex value-added services are some characteristics of our landscape as LSO. Different requirements towards our supply-chain due to development of our systems, the number of upgrades of systems on customer sites and the need for differentiated service level agreements drive the need for a flexible 3PL network with integrators and freight forwarders.
