    Global Wholesale Marketing Manager

    We are looking for a talented Wholesale Marketing Manager to join the marketing team at Scotch & Soda. We are looking for someone with experience in the fashion industry and with Marketplaces. Our Marketing team is responsible for all marketing initiatives across the brand, worldwide. This includes, but is not limited to, activities within Wholesale including nation wide distributors, franchise stores , online pure players, department stores and specialty stores. Our Marketing team is located at our beautiful canal facing office in Amsterdam.

    As our Wholesale Marketing Manager you will be responsible for managing the global marketing activities within the wholesale network working with nation wide distributors, franchise stores , online pure players, department stores and specialty stores. Responsible to create and maintain a strong liaison between HQ and regional marketeers as well as coordinate and manage those regional markets with regards to wholesale activity. Some specific day-to-day responsibilities will include the below:

    • Create and own global annual wholesale marketing activation plan and manage global budgets while overseeing and allocating regional WHS budgets
    • Together with the global marketplace manager develop a holistic strategic activation plan for our marketplaces/whs accounts
    • Planning, managing and executing the wholesale marketing activations – from windows, pop-ups, sponsorships, store openings and marketing partnerships to newsletters, banners and (social media) campaigns - in close collaboration with regional marketing managers
    • Partner with regional Marketing teams to identify how to tailor seasonal and promotional messages to remain relevant to local customer needs, while still remaining consistent with the overall brand experience
    • Building and maintaining the client network by engaging and fostering relationships with key global wholesale accounts
    • Manage the delivery of brand and promotional signages/assets (incl windows) including making sure all partners have access to the right assets
    • Support online wholesale activities
    • Provide analysis regularly and on demand for the brand marketing activities in the WHS channels and report on results and learnings
    • Ensure projects are delivered on brand, on time and on budget across markets
    • Monitor online stores to make sure the collection is well represented (photography, styling, recommended prices)
    • Monitoring competitor activity and identifying tactical opportunities

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in similar roles in wholesale marketing
    • Experience in the fashion industry is a must
    • Proven experience working with Marketplaces
    • Experience at both global and local levels preferred
    • Strong Project Management skills, ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities flexibly while maintaining a positive work attitude. Able to work on multiple projects at the same time and perfectly capable of working under pressure
    • Strong understanding for consumer behaviour and trends with the ability to translate strategies and insights into actionable brand and channel marketing activations
    • Exceptional capacity to work across teams and foster relationships within the organization as well as with third party partners with the ability to effectively manage timelines and coordinate internal and external teams to deliver results
    • Team player with the ability to work under own initiative and the ability to push ideas
    • Creative, analytical, innovative and willing to contribute ideas and professional opinion
    • Quick apprehension, proactivity and a hands-on mentality with willingness to take over responsibilities
    • Solutions and deadline driven with a sharp eye for detail
    • Excellent communications skills
