The Global Innovation team works as an enabler for innovation in the company, collaborating with Business Units to structure and develop innovation. On top of that, the team accelerates the delivery of innovations in strategic topics and is connected with external innovation networks (start-ups, academia, corporations and other partners) to capture new opportunities for SHV Energy.
Key responsibilities will included:
Support and/or coordinate projects within the innovation accelerators in strategic topics, working together with different business units and applying different approaches (open innovation, design sprints) to deliver impactful innovations;
Support open innovation engagements (ex. challenges, hackathons, etc.) to scout solutions and identify new opportunities for SHVE; and
Share best practices across the businesses and keep the global innovation community active.
Facilitate and coordinate (virtual) workshops and training sessions on innovation methodologies and ways of working for different levels of the organization.
Support the team on Innovation Management activities (reporting, KPI’s, governance, etc); and
Generate Innovation portfolio analysis and report them according to the global Innovation governance.
Work closely with Global Innovation Managers in supporting Business Units across the globe to develop local innovation programs.
As such, we would like you to have:

1 - 3 years of professional experience in innovation projects (corporates or consulting);
Practical experience with innovation processes and methodologies (ex. design thinking and lean startup);
Experience with training different audiences and coaching teams on Innovation
Desirable experience with scouting of new technologies, start-ups, and trends
Desirable to have experience with innovation management (example: ideation, KPI’s, governance, portfolio management, etc.);
Clear passion for establishing collaboration with colleagues from different geographies and business background;
Able to be an active part of innovation communities;
Results driven with clear insights and vision;
Highly collaborative team player;
Proactive, entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys handling complex, multi-faceted projects and who thrives in a fast-paced environment;
Well organized, with strong process management skills and ability to establish and work to priorities
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills;
Flexible and responsive to changing situations;
Ability to build and use personal networks to link ideas and people that might otherwise not interact;
