JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS (JDE) is a global coffee powerhouse. You will recognise our historic brands like Maxwell House, Jacobs, L’Or, Pilao, Kenco, Moccona, Douwe Egberts. As JDE Professional, we are the B2B division and we reach consumers whenever they are enjoying their coffee away from home in over 60 markets.
The next exciting stage of JDE Professional’s growth journey centres on eCommerce. We want to step up our strategy and execution, leveraging the explosion in online sales and capture the multi-million opportunity it provides. For us eCommerce spans all aspects of the online world: from marketplaces like Amazon, to our own webshops, or any other online sales channel.
To make this step change, we have created a new role: Global eCommerce Manager Professional. We need an eCommerce expert to join the Global Sales team in Utrecht and closely partner our Sales Directors across Europe to deliver 3 critical goals in 2021:
Develop a strategic vision for the Professional eCom business
Define and deploy the eCom “playbook” for Professional, creating tools that build the eCom capabilities in all local sales teams
Work with eCom counterparts across other divisions to define a singular approach to eCommerce for total JDE.
To be successful in this role you need to:
Have a deep eCommerce expertise that you’ve developed through at least 3 years of leading a similar agenda
Be highly collaborative and analytical
Have a strategic vision, and a KPI mindset
Be agile, ambitious, energetic and a great communicator in English.
