    Global Corporate Services Intern

    Global Corporate Services Internship

    In this internship, you will gain valuable experience performing a variety of activities within the Global Corporate Services team. This group is part of the Finance organization and is responsible for Global Fleet Management, Corporate Travel, Expenses and Credit Card programs. During this internship, you will get valuable experience in daily operations supported by the team, which overlaps areas of finance, analytics, procurement, contracting and cost allocation.

At this role, you will put in practice your communication, people and analytical skills. We are looking for someone who can quickly adapt and react, is interested to learn about the industry, has a pro-active approach and enjoys to make a difference.

    Main Responsibilities of this role will be to:

    Support coding of car fleet related invoices, follow financial processes
    Follow up on invoicing vs. contract
    Keep accurate details on company cars on various fleet management platforms
    Support team in daily operations in all areas of responsibility
    Support updates of policies and formatting of documents
    Perform a variety of tasks related to team’s areas of responsibility
    Assist with projects and their management
    Create compliance and performance reports and presentations
    Analyze data to increase business operational efficiency
    Liaise with internal customers and update information in the portals where applicable
    Assist with communication: newsletters, training, maintenance of internal Intradexx pages.

    What you will need to succeed

    We are looking for a Business Administration student, with an affinity with Finance and/ or Accounting
    An ability to evaluate and improve existing processes
    Given our company’s international environment, good intercultural communication skills are a must, as well as fluency in the English language, verbally and in writing.
    An ability to ask the right questions, separate facts from assumptions, and determine what is relevant and what is not in the decision-making process.
    Data gathering and analytical ability
    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to gain credibility quickly
    Ability to work effectively with different levels of the organization.
    Ability to work both, individually and as a team player
    Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

    We offer you an allowance of 400 euros per month, a fair share of responsibilities, and the opportunity to be part of a great international team.
    We aim for a start by the beginning of February 2020 to stay for a minimum of 6 months. Our office is located next to Hoofddorp, Netherlands train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). However, given the still-ongoing COVID-19 situation, most of this assignment will be on a working remote basis, with regular contact with your manager and colleagues via video call.
    Please note this is a full-time work experience internship. Therefore, it does not qualify as a thesis or graduation internship, or as a part-time assignment
