What does the role involve?
Contribute to the research, analysis, design and development of the company’s benefit programs - consistent with business priorities and total rewards philosophy
Monitor emerging industry trends, market competitiveness and legislative requirements related to benefits programs in scope
Run financial oversights of benefit programs to continuously monitor risk exposure and financial sustainability
Partner and Project Management
Participate in implementation of new benefits or changes to existing programs from the design to the communication stage
Partner with global benefits brokers, consultants and other vendors to deliver competitive benefits with the highest level of service
Work with vendors, internal communications, and consultants to build comprehensive employee communication strategies
Participate in contract negotiations and arrangement of financial provisions of plans
Independently manage vendor performance
Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines with confidence while maintaining strong partner relationship internally and externally
Manage service issues escalated by Benefits Operations team
Partner with cross-functional groups including Legal, Finance, Communications, D&I, and Operations to ensure delivery of various benefit programs
Connect with employees and various affinity groups to gather insights that help inform future benefits program design to continuously meet the needs of the diverse and global workforce

Educated to Bachelor/Master degree level in Human Resources or similar.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal communications) is required.
A minimum of 2 years’ related experience in benefits strategy and design for global retirement plans, pension plans, medical plans, Life/AD&D plans, Disability plans, Paid Time Off, Work/Life benefits.
Understanding of general HR principles and policies.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
Advanced communication skills to navigate internal stakeholder management, cross-functional team interactions, inter-team dynamics and external vendor management.
Advanced presentation skills to clearly summarize and effectively share complex information with various audiences.
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions, lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and successfully execute projects.
Skills to work independently and as part of a team, especially build close working relationships with individuals across the business and among external advisors.
