Conference Compass is looking for a full-stack developer (JavaScript/Node/React/Angular) to join our growing team in creating cutting-edge web & mobile applications for virtual and hybrid events.

You will participate and take the lead in designing and developing backend API’s, cloud-based services and web applications. Your code will be used within our ecosystems of highly customizable and successful web and mobile apps for virtual and hybrid events.

We are looking for somebody with passion and experience in JavaScript which is driven by a solution-oriented attitude and the desire to build great products. The role would be ideal for a senior developer, but we would also welcome enthusiastic people with less experience but ready to take the next step in their careers.

The position would also provide you the opportunity to work with our sophisticated backend deployment infrastructure and with some of the most exciting current technologies like Node.js, AWS, Serverless, React & React Native, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

You will be working as part of a high performing team where we welcome initiative and creativity, we are great at what we do, love to learn, spread knowledge and work closely together.

What you will be doing

• Create clean and rapid backend API's
• Implement cloud-based services and serverless functionality
• Extending and improving our microservices-based app application ecosystem
• Participate in the development of the next generation of our event platform

What we ask from you

• Good knowledge of JavaScript. Knowing NodeJS and React is a plus.
• The ambition to develop well written and designed software
• The aspiration to work with others to solve complex problems
• Great eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility
• Creativity, willingness to learn, and eagerness to solve interesting problems
• Fluency in English and good communication skills
