During your internship, you will have the opportunity to perform all Front Desk Agents tasks –from the checklist to check-in’s, check out's, using the property management system Opera and dealing with all sorts of guest requests. By working closely with our Guest Relations, Butler and Concierge teams you gain an all-rounded knowledge of the Rooms Division part of the hotel. The team of The Grand is young and bursting with passion and motivation. Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam finds personal growth very important and therefore we employ a full-time training manager. We offer interns of The Grand responsibility and personal coaching to support you in your development. During your internship, you can also follow various cross-training courses which will allow you to see other departments of the hotel and broaden your knowledge about hotels. The internship fee is €500 gross. It is also possible that you will receive a travel allowance and that you can use our staff restaurant every day free of charge.

You are enrolled in a hospitality management study
You are available from December/ January for the minimum period of 5 months
You speak Dutch and English, both on a business level
You are flexible, motivated and stress-resident
