Our software is currently serving thousands of users in the Netherlands and the UK, and this number is surely expected to increase. To make sure we provide our users with the best product, we need to continuously invest in technology and innovation. As a front-end developer, you will play a crucial role in this. ParkBee’s product is constantly evolving and we are ready to conquer the rest of Europe! Some of your tasks:
Building all of the front-end components of the system, both customer-facing and internal tools, you will be coding in the heart of ParkBee;
You will help set up the vision for our front-end services and communicate and share it with the rest of the team;
Improving the scalability and maintainability of our code, working with new technologies, and developing new features from scratch; that’s where you come in;
You will be a part of our front-end team and will be responsible for drafting our style guide, making our product scalable and maintainable;
Analyse problems and develop improvements in our user experience.
Who you are
You are flexible, curious, not afraid of trying new things, and have a proactive mindset. You need to be passionate about front-end development, and ready to join a hardworking environment. You are willing to be a part of a team and are open to giving and receiving feedback. You work closely with other developers and designers to reach your goals and take initiative. We’re likely to be a match, if you:
Have at least 3 years of experience working as a front-end developer;
Have experience with Git;
Are used to working with front-end frameworks like Angular or React;
Are proficient with HTML, SASS and with a CSS method, such as BEM;
Have experience with front-end testing frameworks;
Have good understanding of agile and SCRUM;
Bonus: you have knowledge of different design patterns and experience with AngularJs;
Bonus: you have experience with maintaining design systems or other means to distribute reusable components and styles to multiple product teams.
