Room Mate Aitana is looking for a fun, spontaneous and always-smiling Front Desk Service Coordinator to take care of Aitana's guests and to give them outstanding service throughout the entire stay.
The Service Coordinator ensures out guests get the best possible experience from check-in to check-out and all contact moments between. They manage the Front Office team and coordinate with other key teams (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations) to ensure a smooth experience.
Coordination of front desk operation during your shift, ensure excellent service to guests and colleagues
Ensuring guest complaints and issues are resolved in a quick way to satisfaction of the guest, and reporting on this to hotel management
Ensuring smooth reception shifts, including handling check-in and check-out yourself where needed
Supervising / leading of the team during shifts
Involved in the hiring process, team evaluation, motivation of the team.
Control and ensure correct handling of cash / invoicing / credit cards
Support reservations department when needed
Ensure proper reporting to management, head offices and other departments
Making work schedules and ensure proper shift staffing
Participate in recruitment and evaluations of staff
Duty Management tasks
Suggest improvements in department and hotel
Other tasks assigned by the Front office manager
Our ideal Roomie will have:
Sincere friendliness, good sense of humor, enjoying life, positivity, and to share your view of the world. In other words: yourself! Besides this we are also looking for the following:
Experience as a Shift leader/Supervisor at the Front Office in similar hotel (service level and size) size is a plus, or a minimum of 2 years experience as a (senior) Receptionist.
Educated in hospitality / hospitality management on HBO level, or MBO level with relevant work experience.
Excellent command of English and at least one major european language
