    Freelance Talent Development Coordinator

    The job in short

    As Talent Development Coordinator you are an important contributor to making sure our Backbasers and people managers have the necessary skills to perform their job and have an outlook to continuously grow and develop their career at Backbase. With the way you organize your work and your eye for detail, you create learning journeys, place the right people to the right training and make sure that all the logistics are taken care of. As we further digitise our ways of working with new tools in 2021, you will be able to use cutting edge technology, help us set up new processes and bring Backbase to the next level.

    Meet the job

    • Coordinate and manage training logistics (participant & waiting lists, status tracking, invitations, locations & catering, contracts, feedback forms, etc.) for our soft skills, wellbeing and internal and external manager development programs;
    • Maintain learning journeys in the Learning Management System in collaboration with our colleagues from Academy;
    • Align with external training & coaching providers, e.g. for training dates, contracting, payments/invoices and feedback about training courses;
    • Be the first point of contact in regards to the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) from an HR perspective;
    • Align talent & development programs with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Academy, Recruitment, Communications and course participants;
    • Maintain an overview of training-related spend;
    • Report on use of training budget and implement actions based on findings;
    • Develop talent & development related reports to share with senior managers;
    • Maintain and update talent & development related Confluence pages;
    • Career Framework: maintain access rights and create/update job profiles and competencies where needed based on input from the hiring manager and/or HR Business Partner;
    • Support the implementation of our new performance management and employee feedback tools;
    • Lead or participate in projects or lend a helping hand to other colleagues where needed.

    How are you

    • At least 2-3 years' experience as a Learning & Development Specialist/Training Coordinator or in a similar role;
    • Knowledge and interest in talent, development and training-related topics;
    • Very good communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders;
    • Good knowledge of working tools (e.g. Google Suite);
    • Enthusiastic, well organised and flexible;
    • Able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines as needed;
    • Eye for detail & structured working style;
    • Take initiative and have a positive 'getting-things-done' attitude;
    • Get energy out of performing administrative tasks and take pride for doing their job well;
    • Able to see inefficiencies and making things better continuously.
