    FIX Application Support / FIX Onboarding - Amsterdam

    Financial Services firm based in Amsterdam, Netherlands seek a FIX Application Support / FIX Client Connectivity On boarder. Support is 70% Traders and Customers over the phone and 30% on boarding – testing connectivity, fix certification and working with the sales team. You MUST have experience supporting FIX protocol (FIX logs, the ins and outs of orders amending order states) ideally within Equities, Futures & Options. Customer on-boarding experience preferred (VeriFix / FIX Client Certification), SQL(select statements, run queries) Windows / Linux (ability to log on to Linux, basic Shell scripting, query information about a Unix shell basic networking. Bash or Python scripting experience preferred. DevOps mind-set is important part of the team, as they aim to leverage as much automation as possible. Experience of monitoring and support of production mission critical trading and market data systems. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills. This role is to provide first-level and first-class support answering questions and resolving participant issues related to trading, market data and technology. The role will support day to day associated tasks with operations, trade support and oversight over live Production trading systems. This includes handling inbound calls and email traffic for the Production Support Team as well as monitoring all trading, report and market data systems proactively. You will also document issue resolution and communication to market participants and vendors.
