    Financial Analyst

    The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide accounting and finance support to the US corporate tax and treasury group. This includes accounting for a large portfolio of tax driven entities in multiple jurisdictions and various functional currencies. It includes supporting future tax initiatives by preparing accounting entries that eliminate in consolidation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of tax holding company portfolio in HFM
    • Reconcile foreign currency transactions and confirm compliance with FAS 52
    • Communicate/confirm monthly intercompany balances with partner(s) by day 2
    • Review and include quarterly AOP entries in HFM
    • Liaise with Treasury for intercompany loan terms and update changes accordingly in HFM
    • Run ad hocs during financial close confirming entities are in balance and rollforward accounts accurate
    • Prepare accounting entries around ongoing tax initiatives of the corporate tax and treasury group ensuring elimination in consolidation
    • Review legal support around the corporate tax initiatives ensuring legal documents and entries are in sync
    • Work with local audit and tax firms to prepare annual statutory filings of our foreign tax entities
      • Provide timely information to local accounting firms
      • Prepare reconciliation of HFM versus local GAAP including explanations of material differences
      • Forward to and obtain CAO approval of local statutory accounts liaising with TMO legal ensuring AGMs are held
      • Ensure corporate tax payments of our foreign subs are promptly made and updated correctly in HFM
    • Review the accuracy of third-party vendor invoices ensuring they are in line with AOP and seeking proper organizational approval before forwarding to treasury for payment
    • Assist manager with forecasts and AOP deliverables ensuring timely submission in CMR
    • Assist manager with gathering and tidy assembling of all information requests relative to ongoing and future tax audits
    • Other projects as necessary

    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferable

    Minimum 5 years of related experience

    Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

    • Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accuracy of information and meet deadlines with little supervision
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of income statement and balance sheet, loan amortization schedules and financial close processes
    • Experience in large, multi-currency, international operating company
    • Experience with foreign currency transactions and translation
    • Proficient in Excel, Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase (CMR), Smartview and ad hoc

    Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
