    Financial Controller

    LEMO Connectors Benelux is looking for an ambitious and analytical:

    Financial Controller, fulltime

    (Haarlem – Dutch speaking)

    Main mission

    As a Financial Controller you are responsible for the financial administration & control to monitor the financial performance and enable sound decision making for the Management team by providing fact-based reports and insights.

    This is a key role as you will contribute to help to continuously steer and improve the organization.

    What you will be doing in this role:

    • You will be responsible for the quality, integrity, and timeliness of the financial information (oversight of statutory accounting), financial control and reporting.
    • You will be a Member of the Management Team, in charge off enhancing overall profitability and financial performance in line with budgets and forecast, in compliance with the Group policies, Group Finance requirements and NL financial, legal & statutory regulations.
    • Deliver accurate and fairly presented monthly financial statements and analysis.
    • Hire, manage and supervise a small and effective financial team and are therefore ultimately responsible for the debtor, creditor, project, hours and purchase administration.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
    • Prepare annual budget and investigate / report variance analysis.
    • Set up missing processes and adjust the systems and internal controls accordingly.
    • Manage the intercompany transactions with the LEMO Group.
    • Identify opportunities/vulnerabilities arising from actual performance and advise management of the effect of these on future performance.
    • Monitor financial risks to the business and prepare and implement an effective plan to mitigate these risks (currency fluctuations, customer credit levels).
    • Maintain contact with the accountant, bank, tax authorities and other financial institutions.

    What you can bring to the table:

    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in an international B2B company or similar.
    • You have proven to be able to run and control a complete financial administration successfully.
    • Overall drive and knowledge of financial control and skills to extract data from ERP.
    • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
    • Ability to create, lead and motivate a team.
    • Pragmatic insight to easily map out complex processes and translate them into clear reports.
    • Highly numerate and with strong commercial aptitude.
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in a recognized professional accounting qualification.
    • Fluent Dutch and English.
