In this unique and newly created role, you’ll be working closely with our Business OPS/ Finance manager, Sales and Client Success team to support establishing and improving processes around invoicing, accounting and vendor management. Main responsibilities are on AR, AP and GL but in this unique role you will also interact with and help to build strong relationships with our vendors, support commercialization of new ideas and to help maintain and improve internal processes.
In your role you will make sure our sales are invoiced, and payments are received and processed timely and correctly. You will also make sure vendor invoices are received and paid in time (AR/AP). Externally you will be in close contact with our vendors, ensuring a strong relationship and operating model You will also be in contact with our external accountant to ensure a correct financial administration on a monthly basis (GL), and create visibility in our results. Furthermore you will be providing financial analysis to support forecasting, budgeting and guide other business decisions of the LT.
Furthermore you will be involved in establishing and managing our vendor database and supporting the Sales and Client Success Team with ad hoc projects. You will help build metric reports and complete analysis to support sourcing and vendor selection decisions.
Last but not least we love to innovate and will look for your thoughts and ideas to develop ideas for process improvement for scaling the finance and Ops department.

Requirements for the role
3+ years experience in a similar role (operations, finance and/or vendor management)
Experience in building and maintaining financial models in Excel/Google Sheets
Basic accounting knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong business acumen
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Ambition to grow in the organization
Strong project management skills
Passionate about solving problems and thinking outside of the box
Positive and optimistic attitude
Ability to build relationships quickly with people
Multi-tasker with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self starter with a can-do mindset
Tech savvy, data and process driven and eager to solve problems;

Excellent communicator in English, both verbal and in writing;

Preferable (not a must)
Experience in a start-up/scale-up environment
Personal experience of living and/or working overseas
Dutch and/or any other language is nice to have
