    Finance Manager Multinational

    Are you the ambitious financial we are looking for? For a client nearby Arnhem we are looking for a Finance Manager who is not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and distress the CFO with the workload.

    The position of Finance Manager is an excellent position for a motivated candidate, with a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or a related field (or a master’s degree in business administration) and/or professional certification and at least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role, aiming for a career in a leading international enterprise. Experience with collecting, analyzing and forecasting accounting, financial and/or cost information and month end closing with accurate reporting is essential. In this position you will work in an international environment with highly experienced colleagues. The candidate will be challenged with interesting business cases, and high performance will lead to increased responsibility and career development opportunities.

    Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Leads a functional area of the finance department and ensures compliance with financial standards is maintained.
    • Collects analyzes and forecasts accounting, financial and/or cost information in order to develop financial plans and to provide an accurate reporting of financial data which complies with (US GAAP).
    • Develops and maintains models used to support the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis processes.
    • Leads the development of financial plans. Performs ad-hoc analysis on competitors and various business critical issues
    • Accesses analyzes and integrates data from various sources for use in developing financial plans and labor, burden and overhead rates. Utilizes information to determine and monitor actual financial performance against budgets and to determine sales/profit impact.
    • Responsible for reviewing and approving month end financial statements prior to submittal to controller.
    • Responsible the fixed asset management system is being maintained and physical inventories are being performed as required. Review quarterly schedules for accuracy and perform analysis.
    • Review month end closing journal vouchers, schedules, FRS (internal financial statements), cost center reports, and other financial statements.
    • Develop and implement accounting systems, methods, procedures and internal controls.
    • Review and approve complex monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reports published to various groups.
    • Participates in the preparation and analysis in the annual budgeting process.

    Ensure department remains compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and corporate financial policies and procedures.

    • Assist operational management and other departments of the Company with financial statement analysis and other inquiries. Provide formal financial training to other groups in the organization.
    • Proactively review established accounting practices and procedures. Recommend changes in and additions to such practices and procedures. Implement such changes where applicable in order to enhance the department’s efficiencies and effectiveness.
    • Responsible for a timely and fault free monthly Payroll run and ensure correct administration of salary changes with SOX compliance.
    • Performs supervisory responsibilities
    • Responsible for local statutory audit and tax compliance

    · Leadership – You will be responsible for managing a team.

    · Strong accounting knowledge - Knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition is essential. (ASC 606 ).

    · Multitask & Manage –US GAAP reporting, accounting, finance and local statutory filing (e.g. VAT/ TAX) Compliance to reporting deadlines (global reporting deadlines)

    · Communication – board audience, from direct reports to manager abroad.

    · Software knowledge– SAP, Hyperion, MS office
