    Finance Assistant / Financieel Medewerker

    Your challenge

    As our Finance Assistant, you will be part of the Accounting team. You will be working closely together with 2 other finance assistants where you will have many varied activities and the freedom to make your own contribution. Your main responsibility will be to recordtransactions in the accounting systems in a complete, timely and accurate manner. Through clear processes and monthly closings, the accounting team provides a solid financial basis on which the rest of the company can build on.

    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    • Performing various accounting duties, including checking and entering purchase invoices, credit cards and expense reports, and processing bank statements;
    • Monitoring the workflow for approving invoices;
    • Preparing payments;
    • Assisting in the creation of invoices for members, distributors and other parties and importing and maintaining accurate and current records of incoming and outgoing sales revenue.
    • Assisting with the monthly closing with a complete and uptodate ledgers;
    • Making an active contribution to improving administrative processes.

    Boxes to tick

    • At least MBO 4 with preferably an accounting training or similar;
    • At least 4 years of work experience in a similar position;
    • Knowledge of Exact online and Scansys is an advantage;
    • Good knowledge of the Dutch VAT rules;
    • Excellent command of MS Excel;
    • Ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks and set priorities;

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Dutch and English;
