As a Research Fieldwork Manager, you are at the basis of all international research projects of DVJ. Without fieldwork, there is no research. In collaboration with consultants and researchers, you look for the right research target group for our clients. You are responsible for finding high-quality and fast opportunities using our own panel and the capabilities of fieldwork partners. In doing so, you provide an overall overview of DVJ’s international fieldwork and you are always looking for ways to optimise this. WHO ARE WE? DVJ Insights is an ambitious, innovative market research agency located in the Netherlands, the UK and Germany. At DVJ Insights we work with over 60 people from 3 different locations for many clients from all over the world. Including Samsung, Heineken, Dutch Central Government, Nestlé, ING, and Bavaria. The organisation is characterised by an informal and dynamic working environment with many young people and seasoned professionals. Everyone at DVJ contributes to our growth, which is why it’s extremely important to invest in the personal development of our employees. Because we are a global company, we are used to working online and have already integrated our company structures into this way of working. WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A RESEARCH FIELDWORK MANAGER? This position ensures that you are in the middle of the international organisation. On the one hand, the range of responsibilities consists of many small, short tasks in which you have contact with almost everyone in the organisation, on the other hand, you have a helicopter perspective, and you look for opportunities to optimise the fieldwork processes. The latter can be about improving the quality of the fieldwork, the availability of difficult target groups or the operational process for the researcher and the consultant. This position is part of the Tooling and Fieldwork team, within the Research Team. The aim of this team is to continuously improve all operational processes within DVJ.
You are responsible for:
Coordination of all fieldwork within DVJ and picking up fieldwork requests in our system AFAS. Researchers are responsible for the operational process; you are responsible for assigning our own panel and partners and bringing them into contact with each other.
Managing our own panel, answering questions from panel members, managing and expanding background data of panel members, quality checks, payment of rewards, managing the social media pages.
The first check of invoices from partners.
Onboarding and training of researchers and consultants on fieldwork topics.
Responsible for fieldwork intensive research projects (such as benchmark projects).
Compiling and providing overviews of all the international fieldwork of DVJ, insights into numbers, costs and quality.
Evaluating and optimising the fieldwork process within DVJ. Both technical (along with our own questionnaire and fieldwork software experts) and procedural.
Advising on and preparing annual agreements with suppliers and the overall fieldwork strategy of DVJ.
