    Facilities Coordinator

    IDEXX is seeking a fulltime Facilities Coordinator, to be based at our EMEA Headquarters in Hoofddorp the Netherlands. In this role, under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor Netherlands, you will assist in the management of the day to day facility operations at our EMEA Headquarters as well as our Distribution Center (also located in Hoofddorp) and will be the first point of contact for facilities support and services. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual to take ownership of our day to day facility operations, incl. vendor management of soft and hard services, moves, space database management, smaller projects and Environment, Health & Safety

    To ensure that IDEXX Facilities infrastructure, processes, and services meet the evolving needs of the business, we will be a strategic partner and service provider of choice for the business teams. We will strive to achieve operational agility and flexibility, high employee engagement, cost excellence, and safe, sustainable operations.

    In this Role:

      You will be responsible for receiving, dispatching, and following up on (maintenance) work order orders

      You will manage building and installation maintenance schedules

      You will manage vendors assign work and evaluate performance of contractors

      You will provide administrative support such as soliciting quotes for services, invoice verification, purchase order creation and updating work orders and space management database

      You will perform building audits to identify the need and/or opportunity for maintenance and repair and keeping the building in a nice and tidy appearance to meet IDEXX and Health & Safety Standards

      You will identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and costs savings

      You will respond to facility related emergencies (may also be outside of office hours) and being part of the Emergency Response Team

    What You Will Need to Succeed:

      You will have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Facilities Management and minimal 3 years’ experience in facility coordination in a similar (international) environment

      You will ideally have proficiency in Facilities Management Software, building automation systems or other software (such as Desigo, Maximo and/or SAP)

      You will be fluent in English plus Dutch language skills are desired

      You will have strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills

      You will be able to act without direct supervision, and exercise independent discretion in accordance with policy

      You will be able to recognize, investigate, communicate and resolve operational problems

      You will be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (including electronically) for the purpose of public interaction, report writing, and daily job function
