In our Talent Advisory Benelux team, we are moving to a new set up of the way we deliver value to the organization. As part of this, we are introducing an Operational Hub and re-focus our in-market roles to be strategic Talent Partners for the internal talent pool or external talent.
In this new role as Talent Partner – external, you are the expert for the external talent market and responsible for finding the right candidate at the right time or maintaining the relationship for future hire. You will disrupt the traditional recruitment approach of “post & pray” and explore innovative sourcing channels and methods to engage the right external talent for our business. You make impact by understanding the external talent market, knowing and advising on the right sourcing channels, are commercially oriented and able to translate market insights & internal needs into sourcing strategy into recruiting the best, hard-to-find, external talent. You will proactively identify candidates for all open external roles and pipelining projects by using multiple mediums e.g. LinkedIn, social media, online and offline communities, networking, participating in / organizing events, referrals, blogs and specific industry job boards.
You will be part of a team with Internal Talent Advisors who will guide you through the ins- and outs of the internal portfolio’s and be your anchor to the business. Together, you will ensure that great matches are made for the business and the candidates. You will work through our Operational Hub to link into Talent pools and work on pro-active sourcing. You also work closely with Employer Brand colleagues to develop relevant content for Talent Communities to drive engagement through targeting campaigns and drive diversifying the sourcing channels for our key strategic talent groups. Next to that you will provide data, insights and guidance to the Talent Advisor Team on research/sourcing industry trends, tools and strategies. This role also signals and drives process and technology improvements in our recruitment process to be able to deliver a great candidate experience.
Be the expert on the external talent market for a broad range of functions and advise the Internal Talent Partners, HR teams and business teams on trends and opportunities;
Manage external vacancy portfolio process end-to-end, both proactive and reactive and partner with the Hiring Manager and HR Business Partner (entry level / manager / executive roles)
Driving Be Resourceful (Open Talent Economy) and alternate channels of hiring from external for the function.
Networking to build, manage and maintain the external talent pipeline of future fit talent leveraging digital and social channels.
Work towards set KPIs: accountable for new recruitment technology adoption, speed, costs and superior Hiring Manager & Candidate experience
Provide and analyze data on key recruitment / talent metrics and utilize metrics to identify and implement process improvements.
Co-drive Employer Branding activities and campaigns (led by EB);
Working with external partners and providers to build the best and fastest route to talent.
Create and implement innovative and out of the box sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best diverse talent in Unilever.
Proactively manage & build candidate relationships and communicate the Unilever employment value proposition to prospective hires.
Managing Applicant tracking system data integrity and accuracy.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in HR / Business / Marketing / Economics or related field.
2-3 years of proven experience in creatively sourcing and attracting (scarce) profiles is preferred. Needless to say that LinkedIn, Social Media etc. are your friends. Employer Branding experience is a definite plus.
Labor market expertise and External Orientation in context of social trends and benchmarking best practices in Recruitment and Employer Branding.
Fluency in English and Dutch
Proficient in MS Office, HR systems (Workday, Hiredscore), Digital screening / sourcing tools (HireVue, Linkedin recruiter) and Social Media (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram)
You are an expert in community building and engagement through story-telling
Agility in a dynamic and ever-changing Talent & digital landscape and business and able and comfortable with maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities, and deadlines in a demanding environment
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Preferably experience and knowledge of international recruitment & procedures.
