    Expert Data Governance

    General Purpose
    As an Expert Data Governance at adidas Digital, you are part of the Digital Analytics and Operations team that is responsible for the management of all collected and connected consumer data. In this context, you strive for the seamless integration of all gathered information. You support in driving the evolution of our consumer data assets by implementing strategies for data accessibility, quality management, accuracy, security, consistency and availability. You will conduct and support analyses to help improve the overall data quality.

    Key Responsibilities
    Scope: Accountable for the development of specific data governance processes
    Data Governance
    Facilitate and execute data governance processes within the assigned scope.
    Design and document analytics tracking specifications in partnership with digital analytics team and developers (web and mobile app)
    Support in the creation of improved governance processes and ways of working with product development teams and analytics stakeholders
    Support in the administration of Digital Analytics tools (Data Access guidelines, User access, API access, Tool configuration) - primarily for Google Analytics
    Define data quality benchmarks and work with appropriate teams for continuous validation of data
    Support the implementation of strategies for data accessibility, quality management, accuracy, consistency, usability, security, and availability to the organization and partners.
    Support the management of accessibility to data sets for ad hoc analysis, and to governed, operational data for use cases.
    Contribute to operational data governance projects.
    Data Architecture & Repository
    Develop and maintain specialist knowledge in defined areas of governance for digital analytics (web and mobile).
    Define the Solution Design Reference (data catalog) for Google Analytics for web data and Amplitude for app data.
    Support in the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas.
    Data Analysis, Policy & Compliance
    Derive and document meaningful insights across data collection, data feeds, data transformation, data quality and reporting within the assigned scope.
    Support on the presentation of data analysis findings to stakeholders and peers.
    Support in the implementation of legal compliance requirements into the existing data structure, processes and work flows.

    Education & Professional Experience
    University degree in the field of Business, Technology and/or Engineering
    5+ years of professional experience in multi-national business environment
    1-3 years of experience in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment, knowledge of the digital industry (products, technologies, solution providers, commercial models, trends)
    Experience in a strategy function or consulting is a plus
    Strategic mindset with strong proactive, executional abilities
    Business minded with strong technical background
    Ability to cope well with ambiguity and uncertainty
    Very good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
    Very good leadership and interpersonal skills
    Ability to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levels.
    Strong experience of enterprise digital analytics solutions (Google Analytics , Amplitude)
    Experience of data collection for web and mobile app
    Advanced understanding of data governance processes in a consumer-facing environment
    Fluent English both verbally and written
