As an experiment designer you are making the difference by creating and managing online and offline experiments for a wide variety of propositions in a dynamic environment. Your goal is to prove we identify key customer problems and develop solutions customers really want!
Your impact as Experiment designer at NN
Your ultimate goal is to have a deeper understanding of our customer needs and guide the solution development process by setting up quantitative experiments. The insights you gather, you enrich through quantitative research methods. You understand the need to differentiate between initial consumer appeal for solution directions and real, validated purchase intent. You will work on two projects at the time, where you challenge our Proposition Leads by asking the right questions, set up the experiments and by showing the correct usage of data. You’ll join the project with your innovation mindset and growth hacking skillset. With creativity, you come up with the best possible approach to set up an experiment and to analyse and interpret the data.

Who you are
You are client-obsessed and have analytical and data-driven mindset who needs evidence and proof, you are a creative thinker and problem solver who develops valid experiments. In addition, you recognise yourself in the checklist below:
You have at least 3 -5 years of relevant work experience in the skills below
Proven track-record working with innovation metrics and validation methodologies, online and offline
Hard skills and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing and growth hacking:
Acquisition channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.
Analytics & Tracking; setting up & implementing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Experience in innovation methodologies and principles like lean-startup and you know how to apply and integrate lean-startup principles within the team
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team focused on proposition development
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, ability to measure and analyze data
Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to determine market needs and opportunities
Have a track-record in customer development: deeply understand the (experience) needs and behavior of our customers and apply professional interview and research techniques
Understanding the Dutch language is a must have and needed to successfully fill this position.
You will be part of our Booster team, which is a new team of approximately five to seven colleagues (Customer Experts, Experiment Designers and Innovation Coaches). We regularly work with freelancers to handle different projects at the same time. Our Booster team is part of the Strategic Transformation Office (50 colleagues) within NN Group. Our focus is on innovative development of winning propositions for various services. We are the internal innovation agency, that brings expertise in testing and developing new business models and concepts, from initial idea to market launch.
