    Event Content Internship

    Are you considering a career in live content production or want to develop the skills to succeed in content focused roles such as digital marketing, business development or conference content production? The TNW content team works with the leading minds of tech, creating event platforms to inspire and do business. You will work closely with TNW’s events, sales and marketing teams - and with our roster of speakers - to deliver content-rich events. This is a great opportunity to hone your business writing and research skills, and build your network of tech leaders.

    About us

    TNW is a leading international tech media company founded in 2006. We write technology news (10 millions visitors monthly to thenextweb.com), host events (such as TNW conference with 12.5k visitors), collect and analyse tech startup data (over 200k startups tracked via Index.co) and operate tech spaces in Amsterdam together with Google.

    At TNW, we're on a mission to inspire and inform the world about technology through media, events and services – and each of these arms of the business look to us help them do it.

    The role will include

    • Research to understand the commercial angle of our events and identify potential speakers to invite
    • Learn how to write commercially compelling content by assisting program managers in drafting and editing content session descriptions, interview questions and scripts for recorded and live content
    • Start building your network of tech leaders by supporting the TNW Leaders Program research and outreach efforts
    • Master our event and marketing tech stack by updating the event website and event platform, creating social media assets and updating the CRM (Hubspot)

    Your profile

    • Currently enrolled in or just graduated from marketing, journalism or business studies
    • Remains calm in a fast-paced, multi-tasked role. Able to learn new tools quickly
    • Since you have the opportunity to work with many senior level executives, excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills are essential
    • Native or near native English speaker - written and spoken; Excellent writer of clear and compelling copy
    • Located in/around Amsterdam
    • Preferably available until at least November 2021
