European E-commerce Logistics Specialist

Purpose of the job
The person in this role will own both the day to day operational requirements as well as support the short/medium and long term ambitions of Samsung e-commerce business.
Key activities of the role include:
Set-up and manage D2C warehouse, carrier & partner performance
Drive continuous improvement of fulfilment and carrier operations
Oversee the maintenance and performance measures of Samsung e-commerce business
Plan lead peak / black Friday and launch event activities
Deliver projects / programs including new services and capabilities ensuring optimum productivity and added value services for e-commerce businesses
Partner with key functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into e-commerce projects
Advice on developments and trends for further improvement based on experience and knowledge to a variety of stakeholders
3PL / 4PL and business collaborative mindset
For this role we are looking for a candidate with a positive mindset, passion for logistics and strong motivation, and ability to develop and manage innovative operations solutions. You need to be:

Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/Supply Chain management (preferred)
5 years working experience in SCM & Logistics out of which at least 3 years in e-commerce/operations of online business e-commerce and D2C operations
Knowledge of warehouse and/or transport management systems (develop, operate)
Experience of both in-house and 3PL organizations
Experience of owning and managing a budget / P&L.
Experience of one man operations (warehouse fulfilment and transport)
Commercially astute and creative
A proficient level of English
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word and PPT) and ERP system
Comfortable working across different cultures. Affinity with Asian work culture (preferable)
