About the role
You will be responsible for driving service (Case Fill Rate) for the European markets. You will partner with the markets (commercial and supply) and the manufacturing, procurement and the rest of the planning organisations to drive relentless improvement. Success for the role is delivering an undisputable service internally and externally (such as advantage surveys, etc).
You will establish and implement Operating Strategies by Market following a differentiated approach by channel/customer/product segmentation. Examples would be “Never Be Out SKU’s” or product launch strategies.
You’ll sponsor and drive the digital transformation in the area.
You will Service Run to Target (Continuous Improvement cycle on a daily, weekly, monthly basis) and you’ll be responsible for driving Supply Chain improvements.
Partnering with the Market Supply Chain team you will drive the step change in the service as measured by Customers.
You will have a critical role within Global Planning, Customer Service and Logistics function and you will be instrumental in delivering on Diageo’s efficient growth ambition. You will be required to build effective relationships across our end to end Supply Chain, finance, commercial and the key market leadership teams to deliver performance. You will transform the way we embed and mature Planning in Diageo.
To be successful in role you should have hands-on and leadership experience working within progressive positions in Planning with greater focus on Supply, Demand Planning, S&OP and Financial Business Planning management with relevant experience across CPG, F&B industry.
You’ll demonstrate strong personal drive and ability to foster effective working relationships with stakeholders, peers, leaders and bringing leadership and influencing skills to life.
It is essential that you have a proven track record in designing, shaping, and implementing Planning processes and planning improvement at scale and complexity, and delivering on the outcomes expected.
You will have demonstrable good experiential knowledge of end to end supply chain management with significant emphasis on strong analytical mindset, being results oriented.
It would be great if you have previous experience of market planning experience. Ideally this would cover both supply planning, demand planning and customer facing roles. The role should understand importance and impact of planning on NSV, Working Capital, Profit, and customer relationships.
