    For our office in Amsterdam, we are looking for top talents (m/f/d) to join the Transaction and Position Management team in the business unit Operations of BA Markets.
    TPM is an international team, with professionals from all over the world. The team is responsible for the management of the Sales Positions for Dutch and UK Power. Also for German, Belgian and French Gas; and the processing of hedging data. The team acts as the interface between Trading and Sales, looking into enabling new products, delivering prices to Sales, receiving contract information from Sales, and calculating the financial settlement based on the stored contract data and the received usage data.
    TPM has a central place in the value chain and therefore you will have contact with many departments within the Vattenfall Group – the different Sales Units, Trading Desks, Pricing Teams, Forecasting, Risk Analysis & Reporting, Finance Groups and IT.     What do the main responsibilities look like?
    • Implementing new products, processes, or other changes
    • Actively driving the technical and functional solution design, creating requirements, doing script changes, be part of the acceptance testing
    • Design and implement process automation and robotics, process simplification, or other improvement opportunities
    • Root cause analysis and problem solving in case of issues
    • Analyze data (e.g. allocation or forecasting data) and set up data provisioning and/or reports for various stakeholders
    • Monitor and recognize operational risk and take suitable action where necessary
    • Constantly strive for improving processes to enable stable and efficient operations
    As a successful ETRM Analyst, your work is defined by initiative and taking a proactive approach. You are performance-driven with a cooperative and team-oriented working style.
    Besides that, you convince with the following skills and competencies:
    • University degree in business administration, natural sciences, IT, mathematics, engineering, or similar qualification
    • Experience in the Energy sector, preferably in the area of Energy Trading, Asset Management or Position Management would be a plus
    • Knowledge of the international energy market, energy sourcing and/or development.
    • Strong analytical skills; ability to understand processes, to analyze issues by gathering information, and to make connections and draw conclusions
    • You are creative, pragmatic and have a keen eye to develop lean new solutions whilst continuously looking for smart ways to optimize the current setup.
    • Confident in handling large data sets and experienced in data processing and/or (ad-hoc) data analysis.
    • Profound knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably PowerBI, and process automation tools.
    • Knowledge of the software EBASE (data management and risk management system) is a benefit.
    • Stress-resistant and being able to cope with multiple requests/issues at the same time.
