We are seeking a Compliance Counsel to support the management of its Global Ethics and Compliance Program including support of investigations, training, communications, audits, and remediation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Investigations – support compliance investigations and reviews globally, including:
Managing the company hotline from intake to closure including reviewing, updating, and resolving reports received;
Conducting, and/or supervising outside service providers in conducting confidential investigations of issues including anti-corruption, protection of confidential information, misuse of company assets, conflicts of interest, employment issues, etc.; and
Managing remediation efforts including resulting employment actions from investigations as necessary.
Support management of Global Ethics and Compliance Program, including training initiatives, policy oversight and development, and communications including:
Regular review of Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (“Code”) and revising, as appropriate;
Drafting and managing the annual Code employee affirmation process;
Drafting, updating, implementing and communicating compliance policies;
Creating and conducting compliance and anti-bribery training; and
Supporting management of the Company’s Global Compliance Committee and coordinating training and communications efforts.
Superior interpersonal skills and judgment are essential
Ability to manage fast-paced workload and add value to multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter who demonstrates project ownership and enjoys working across departments
Ability to travel internationally on frequent basis, as required
Understanding of multiple languages a plus
Experience in employment law a plus
7-10 years of significant international experience in legal compliance field
Degree from a reputable Law University. Additional degrees are a plus.
Experience counseling clients on anti-corruption and compliance in international matters
Experience creating and conducting training modules and formulating policies
