Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) is the technical department at UPS which takes care of building and sorting systems, maintenance, design and construction. With our team we ensure the highest maintenance standard on the conveyor systems in order to keep the reliability at highest level, minimize any downtimes and ensure a safe work environment within the UPS buildings.

What do you do on an average day?
- As a BaSE technician, you execute preventive and corrective maintenance actions (mechanical as well as electrical) on the conveyor system and the UPS building.
- You keep track of spare parts inventory and are capable of working closely with colleagues and subcontractors to ensure a high level of service to our internal customers.
- For our new constructed, automated sorting facility in Eindhoven (opened 1.5 years ago), our department needs highly motivated, technically educated technicians who are willing to work in shifts (day, night, morning).
- In order to be a good fit for your work, you will need to have knowledge of PLC’s and experience with maintenance and repairs of automated conveyor systems.

What should you be able to do?
- Electromechanical/- technical degree (Bachelor not necessarily required) is mandatory;
- Computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office software package;
- You should have good troubleshooting capabilities and be able to solve complex technical issues. This you may have to due under stress.
- You need to be able to organize, plan and be able to be in the team and lead them.
- Good communication skills, preferably both in Dutch and English;
- Professional behavior and hands-on mentality;
- Ambitious and motivated.

Salaris: €2.500,00 - €3.800,00 per maand
