We are building the commercial organisation for Vaccines at Janssen and are looking for a motivated and seasoned vaccine marketing expert to join EMEA COVID Vaccine IBVT and assume of co-creation of marketing strategy development for Covid-19 Vaccine Janssen.
This EMEA Product Manager (EPM) will work closely with IBVT lead and EMEA Brand Lead for Covid-19 Vaccine to support the development and the execution of the EMEA marketing campaigns, brand strategy and tactics with a focus on driving a strong market shaping activities and product differentiation messaging for Covid-19 Vaccine Janssen. The role ensures strong collaboration with the marketing and digital teams, support Operating Company marketing teams, prepare and implement commercial activities as defined in the brand plan to enhance customer experiences.
Working within various teams, the EPM develops tactical tools and materials to drive optimal commercial readiness and best brand positioning.
In this role, the EPM gathers information with key stakeholders in order to identify opportunities and gaps within current plans and to ensure optimal marketing support that meets unmet customer needs.
Help co-create the EMEA brand marketing strategy ensuring alignment to global branding and OpCos needs
Develop marketing material with clear customer-ready brand messages
Work in close collaboration with Operating Company Product Managers to prepare and implement marketing activities as defined in the brand plan, working within agreed budget and resource allocation
Implement and monitors systems and metrics, tactics and channel effectiveness for co-created marketing campaigns and materials
Support EBL in ensuring that Value Excellence is incorporated into all aspects of the Local and Regional commercial strategy and tactics by following Brand Value Plan and the Value Excellence framework in accordance to product life cycle stages
Co-creates digital strategy and OMC content with EBL and omni-channel team with appropriate modularity to fit key countries needs
Collaborate with Medical and Communication team for the Public Awareness/Public Education Campaigns
Continuously look for synergies and sharing best practices across Operating Companies (OpCos) to increase effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities and campaigns
Partner closely with the IBVT as well as local teams to ensure Customer Interaction excellence and patient engagement is strongly reflected in relevant customer journeys
Analyses feedback from OpCos gathered to identify opportunities and gaps within current plans to enable early insights and development of relevant marketing content.

5+ years of progressive commercial experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is required, and that at least 3 years experience in marketing within matrix organisation, working within highly matrixed environments and leading cross functional teams
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree in business or life sciences is preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage existing brands and/or development and implementation of brand strategies for new products.
Experience in sales and marketing, working with and developing customer relations.
Strong analytical thinking capabilities
Knows how to lead and influence within a matrix organization
Ability to build strong networks in- and outside of company
Knows the roles and responsibilities of all key stakeholders and functions in the development of brand strategy and HCP marketing materials.
Ability to manage marketing budget and have clear understanding of investment prioritization and basic financial drivers and outcomes
Prior experience in working with external agencies and vendors is required.

This position requires minimum of 25% travel across the EMEA region

It is anticipated that the role holder will be based in his/her current country of residence as long as easy access to travel/transportation and local hosting is available at a Janssen office.
