EMEA Market Development Manager: Biotech Marketing
The job: EMEA Market Development Manager Biotech (Band 7)
Help define the marketing campaign strategy for BIOTECH customers in EMEA, taking into account XLSG business goals, customer segments and competitor plays.
Develop and refines value propositions and associated LSG solutions for key segments and subsegments within the Biotech space
Define a process to ensure all new Biotech customers to thermofisher.com are profiled as Biotech
Define Biotech contact aquisition strategy to increase impact of marketing campaigns including but not limited to 3rd party Biotech networks, Linked In, Biotech Gate, Research Gate etc.
Execute the marketing campaign strategy for BIOTECH customers in EMEA for priotised sub- segments to drive revenue growth at least 1.5x market growth:
Develop and execute outbound marketing campaigns for prioritised segments/sub segments that engage customers, drive thought leadership,and which generate demand and revenue.
Develop an inbound marketing strategy (SEO/SEM) to maximise use of google searches to attract Biotech customers to the Biotech web hub, encouraging customers to furnish their details and opt in so that they can be targeted for outound marketing campaigns
Consolidate marketing campaigns XLSG to maximise customer experience and impact and avoid customer confusion
Regularly interact with customers to make sure VOC defines all marketing activites.
Work closely with regional and global market development teams and digital teams to optimise SEO and SEM
Work closely with marketing teams XLSG and beyond (PSG, RSD, Corporate accounts) to ensure customer focused approach to maximise customer experience
Work closely with Corporate brands to align on Value propositions
Work closely with data science groups to maximise the use of predicted analytics and data science in marketing plays
Work closely with CRM teams for email segmentation
Deliver digital marketing campaigns that contribute to commercial revenue goals
Ensure the ROI of digital marketing activities is in line with EMEA targets
Skills and Background:
The successful candidate will have:
Strong marketing background with proven experience in tactical marketing (at least 4 years)
Experience growing business in a new customer segment – awareness, engagement, onboarding and lead generation
Ability to influence without authority
Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload
Ability to work in a large organization within a highly matrixed environment and to build cross divisional and cross group networks.
Demonstrates the 4is; Innovation, integrity, intensity and involvement
Ideally the successful candidate would have experience of the Biotech industry
