As a Finance Business Operations Associate at IDEXX you will be at the heart of our Financial and order processing operations. You will be a part the European Finance Business Operations Team, responsible for all accurate, timely and compliant order entry, checks and processing for some 21 countries? In this role
The Finance Business Operations Team at IDEXX is responsible for processing and managing all orders and service contracts within EMEA. This involves topics such as billing adjustments, product returns, rebates, discounts and special pricing on which you will have contact with several internal stakeholders. You will be working directly with IDEXX Sales professionals, the Marketing Department and Finance to ensure smooth and compliant order flows.
Customer orders that come in through SAP or one of many mailboxes for capital products, standing orders, and service contracts are your responsibility. Our products are in such high demand, and the volume of orders coming in so big, that we require the successful candidate to excel in speed and accuracy. You are tech savvy, have an eye for detail, you can prioritize your workload and work well with a range of different stakeholders.
The team plays a key role, and is the gatekeeper, to ensure SOX compliance for revenue recognition. This requires knowing all the revenue recognition rules and knowing the control cycles impacted by the team.
What you need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have experience in data entry. What makes you a high achiever is a continuous balance between speed and accuracy. You get on well with different systems and can handle a high workload. Working in a big team doesn't present any problems for you.
You have a high School diploma or equivalent.
You have 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience (preferably in a Shared Service environment, E-Invoicing or Data Entry).
Experience with SAP and Order Management is a big plus.
You have experience with international companies.
You have an excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
You enjoy working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
You are Strong user of MS Office and especially Excel.
You have the ability to work alone and, in a team, you are self-motivated, solutions driven, within a changing, fast-paced environment.
You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
