    EMEA Customer Engagement Analytics Manager

    Purpose

    The purpose of the role is to drive next generation customer engagement, powered by innovative data science techniques, at EMEA

    level and in collaboration with local operating companies


    Key responsibilities

    • Collaborates with Country Platform Leads (CPL) and the central platform team to orchestrate and tailor the use of the advanced analytics engine
    • Orchestrates integration of new data sources leading to next generation customer engagement
    • Serves as the day-to-day contact to clarify user requirements and define priorities. Supports countries in calibrating analytical modeling and iterating on model outputs
    • Acts as key player in explaining analytics models and translating engine insights in a meaningful way to business stakeholders
    • Utilizes market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for the team. Maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the development team
    • Ensures consistency between business needs and the technical solution
    • Leads the Omnichannel Engine reporting developments to ensure on time and on target implementation
    • Supports CPLs in communicating with local brand teams (CVTs) on value, insights, hypotheses and business rules creation
    • Supports CPLs in communication about change management to drive adoption, e.g. sharing engagement material, providing updates on capability building opportunities for users, etc.
    • Coordinates the process to measure the impact of the advanced analytics solution through defined lagging and leading indicators


    Qualifications

    Experience and skills

    • Expert level knowledge of Advanced Analytics (AA)

    i.e. either

      • trained data scientist with at least 3 years experience in commercial analytics and strong business acumen, or
      • solid statistical education in statistics/maths and pharma business experience along with 5 years experience working on a variety of AA projects with different types of algorithms.
    • Capacity to grasp Data Science programming code (Python) when needed
    • Experience working in a global or regional function with cross-functional interactions
    • Experience with pharmaceutical omnichannel engine practical roll-out is an advantage
    • Experience with explainable AI is a plus
