As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will be part of the EMEA Corporate Communications team, leading the GSI and Channel PR programme for the region you will bring experience and best practice to the team. You will also be responsible for leading the overall PR programme for Northern Europe (Netherlands, Belgium and the Nordic countries) as well as the UAE.
The position will report to the EMEA Corporate Communications Director. The preferred location for this position is at our EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.
EMEA is a vibrant and complex region for business communications, and requires a deep understanding of local customs, cultures, messaging techniques and modes of doing business.
Support the EMEA Corporate Communications team to:
Plan, execute and manage day-to-day media and analyst relations activities in the region
Drive and manage PR quarterly thought leadership and creative ideas from conception through to execution across EMEA
Work closely with the in country teams to develop and deliver locally impactful plans and then execute on them
Write, edit, review and maintain status/drive progress of regional and local press releases, media alerts, FAQs and briefing documents, including driving review and approval of partner content
Manage and support media and analyst engagements
Work with the EMEA regional PR agencies as well as PR leads (across different time zones) to develop compelling stories and narratives aligned to key milestones
Develop and publish monthly coverage reports and flag timely coverage to internal stakeholders
Write, edit, review and maintain status/drive progress of Partner press releases and blogs, including approval of content
Support the execution of our global PR strategy
6 + years of agency or in-house experience with the ability to develop a clear understanding of the Palo Alto Networks business and our mission
Experienced with creating PR and communications plans
Experience managing projects and issues with multiple stakeholders
Be seen as the go-to partner and a point of contact for executives
Strong understanding of the media environment across the EMEA region
Experience managing and scaling PR in EMEA
Possess strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with an eye for attention to detail
Possess strong critical thinking, project management and time management skills, with the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented as well as lead and manage projects simultaneously on deadline
Maintain relationships with media
Highly motivated and results-oriented
Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
Experience working with a cybersecurity company is a plus, but not required
