The Production engineer is the first point of contact for technical issues from the operations shift, this can concern process, quality and safety issues. It’s important to really search for the root cause and to solve the issues in a systematic way. Coaching to operators to solve issues on a solid matter will be an important part of the role. This person is expected to spend 50% of their time in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly KPI (OEE) reporting to management on plant output
• Daily present during the shift transfers and morning meeting
• Traksys (OEE,FPFQY) follow up on daily basis
• Alarm management follow up on a daily basis (Top 5, standing alarms, bypasses)
• SMED control
• Leading incident investigations (Safety, quality or OEE incidents)
• Managing Improvement shift teams to work on structural improvements
• Coaching/ guidance to improve troubleshooting skills on shift in a positive way
• Will be part of a team who will rotate on a scheme for emergency callout ouside the normal office hours in case we have process or quality issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree (preference technical background, example: process technology / Chemische technology
• Preference for somebody with production experience
• Six sigma green belt would be appreciated
• Experience in using continues improvement tools (Lean, 6S, 5S, etc)
