    Editorial producer

Since the beginning, WeTransfer has been dedicated to supporting artists and their practice. Through WePresent, its editorial platform, WeTransfer celebrates and showcases unexpected stories about creativity, uncovering under-the-radar works of art, photography, and music from around the world and exploring the creative processes behind them. Together, WeTransfer and WePresent are highlighting the fascinating chasm between a spark of an idea and the delivery of the final product. We are looking for an editorial coordinator to help us produce these stories on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.

Do you think you’re the person we’re looking for? Are you interested in working with us? We would love to hear from you.

    About the role
You will be part of the content team of our editorial platform WePresent and oversee the production of our editorial content. WePresent presents projects across six verticals – music, photography, arts & culture, film, literature and learning – we tell unexpected stories about creative minds. Your focus will be on producing these projects and articles. You’ll oversee the editorial calendar, project timelines, contracts and creative output across all our channels to make sure they are produced on time and to the highest standard.
You’ll manage communication between the editors and the Creative Studio, our in-house creative hub and the marketing team. And as well as keeping the day-to-day flowing, you will assist other editors and project leads where necessary.

    What you’ll do:

    • Supporting the day-to-day management of the content team
    • Manage the editorial schedule and liaise with the Managing Editor on publishing dates
    • Oversee delivery of content projects from conception to publication and review
    • Liaise with the legal team and drafting contracts for our collaborators
    • Arrange and run meetings for the content team and circulate agreed follow-ups
    • Organize and coordinate all content assets across our archives and channels
    • Liaise with our in-house studio and marketing team on creative and promotional output

    About you:

    • Our ideal candidate is someone who has great attention-to-detail but never loses sight of the bigger picture, is passionate about art and culture and who would love to work in a dynamic creative team. We need someone with the skills, experience and personality to keep lots of plates spinning at the same time.
    • You have strong and effective communication skills
    • 3 years of experience in editorial, content production, project management or related topics
    • You are a true team player, have an enthusiastic attitude and a flexible mindset
    • You have a strong eye for detail but never lose sight of the bigger picture
    • Pragmatic attitude with a hands-on mentality
    • You are a problem-solver, comfortable with an ever-changing environment, able to keep lots of plates spinning at the same time
    • You are a self-starter and can work independently
    • WeTransfer is part of the creative community and so are you — broadly interested in tech, design and the arts
    • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
    • Bonus! Knowledge and understanding of SEO and CMS systems
    • The WeTransfer office is based in Amsterdam and this role will require some in-office days. If you are not based in Amsterdam you must be willing to travel when needed.
