The ambition for the Benelux market is huge, and we have aggressive growth plans with the Direct to Consumer business at its centre.The Direct to Consumer channel is where all Dyson initiatives come together and is the single most visible touch point to our owners. Dyson is about better ideas and better technologies, as the eCom Manager you will play a leading role in engineering and implementing the strategy for Dyson to succeed.
About the role
As the eCom manager you will be responsible for the performance of our eCommerce business. This role requires a balance of short, medium and long term planning, and close collaboration with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed organisation. This role has 4 direct reports which will likely expand by 2-3 in the coming months. You will need to strike the balance between what you directly deliver and what you deliver through your team:
You will set the direction, pace and processes for the team.
You will be accountable for the monthly P&L delivery of the web business. You will be accountable for overseeing the day to day stock performance of the site and be involved in planning for key projects throughout the year- eg Black Friday.
Through your team you will be accountable for driving traffic to the site, this will mean directly managing the performance ‘do’ media plan.
You will manage and drive an optimisation road map to drive improved conversation.
You will work closely with customer service points to understand the key tension points for customers on our website developing and delivering plans to address these issues and opportunities.
You will oversee the spend ensuring we are in line with targets and looking for ways to manage our traffic mix to reduce our overall cost of acquisition
You will look for new ways to grow our digital business.
Strong digital knowledge of running an eCom business, experience in online merchandising, online P&L management and digital tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
Strong commercial acumen, comfortable doing analysis drawing information from multiple sources to make recommendations
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence across levels within an organisation.
People management skills: Ability to motivate a diverse team, nurture talent and manage performance as needed
You’ll be comfortable to make priority calls and be comfortable working in fast agile environment and dealing with ambiguity.
You’re comfortable collaborating with colleagues and peers across countries, cultures and levels of seniority
Owner first Mind-set: You’ll Understand and think first and foremost what these plans and actions do for our owner experience.
Fluent in English and Dutch, French would be an added benefit
