In this role, you have the opportunity to
take ownership for several important warehousing and distribution processes. You have checks and balances in place to find out where the process is not going smooth and you try to turn this unhappy flow into a happy flow. You safeguard stock accuracy and a smooth inbound and outbound operation. Since a lot of the work is linked to or done in SAP, it is crucial to have experience in SAP.
You are responsible for
The role has a European scope, covering three DC’s (Netherlands, France, Hungary).
SAP support, including possible evening shifts when severe issues occur. Managing the following processes in SAP
Idoc management
Delivery interface check
Stock compare and corrections
Customizing of tables
Change requests
SAP – DLX key user (Interfacing and network issues)
Knowledge database for sap questions.
Inventory accuracy at external warehouse and review of any inventory issues (damage, loss, missing or excess inventory)
Runbook management (runbook owner and coordinator, create and maintain jobs)
Prepares and analyzes inventory and other reports
Is pro-active in projects and improvement initiatives to improve the processes in the DC’s. Pro-actively giving advise in own area of expertise but also in the broader team
Supports Distribution Management Operations in DC in all necessary topics, mostly with data analysis.

The new Domestic Appliances Warehousing & distribution team Europe led by Istvan Kovacs. This team will be responsible for Warehousing and Distribution in Europe for business Domestic Appliances, running an efficient business and at the same time constantly transforming and innovating. As we value diversity, we have a multi-functional and diverse team, with different points of view, different ways of thinking, new capabilities to improve for our customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
More than 5 years of experience in using SAP, preferably in a supply chain environment
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with > 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with > 3 years of related experience. Study in e.g. Industrial Engineering, Business Mgt, specialized in SCM / Logistics
Knowledge of the supply chain and of 3PL principles, -theories and –concepts are an advantage
Comfortable with taking up responsibility for this role on your own, working very independently
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communicator / team player
Can handle a broad scope with many different projects and improvements running at the same time and can prioritize well
Hand-on mentality, picking up the work there is.
Customer oriented attitude
