For one of the leading teams on IT innovation within the Deutsche Telekom Group, our IT Architecture & Business Analysis team within T-Mobile Netherlands, we are looking for a Middleware specialist to become our Domain Architect Integration.

You have a clear architectural background in Middleware, in at least two of the following middleware technologies, Tibco (must have), Java JMS, IBM Datapower, Webmethods, Mulesoft, etc.
You are a master of integration and APIs make your heart tick. You are analytical and able to structure information. Having overview comes naturally to you. You aim to find better ways and challenge the status quo. You dare to do things differently. At the same time you create togetherness in your relationships and build on each other’s strengths.
In your communication with others you are honest and straightforward. You have an inspiring way of working and can get people on board with your vision for the integration domain within a modern IT landscape which covers on-prem and multiple clouds. You can easily switch between strategic, tactical and operational thinking. You are not afraid to speak out, and we challenge you to express your vision, creativity and to inspire.

The Domain Architect Integration at T- Mobile defines and designs the technology roadmap regarding the integration domain in its totality. You are the integration conscience of T-Mobile, the driving force in which way we connect and disconnect all systems in our IT landscape and interface towards partners. Working closely together with your stakeholders, you define the vision and blueprint for tools and methods needed.
You steer us on the path towards an API driven architecture, leveraging tools that enable our core business processes across all brands, segments and products, from customer facing applications down to network provisioning.
You define implementation strategies, architectural blueprints and solutions. You connect architectural transformation with business opportunities. You are expected to drive the technology agenda in an agile context, which requires both a high level of technical specialization as well as project management skills.

The Domain Architect is a member of the IT Architecture and Business Analysis department. The departments exists of 50 specialists who collectively define the technology direction for all IT related demand in the T-Mobile organization.
You will work with non-technical stakeholders as well as development and operational teams. It is important that the integration solutions fit in the overall landscape of business and enterprise solutions, in line with guiding frameworks (e.g. security, enterprise architecture, information management), and supported by solid IT operations and ways of working.
And last but certainly not least, within Deutsche Telekom group, this team within T-Mobile Netherlands is recognized as one of the leading innovating teams. What we do here, can very well impact the entire group internationally. Your vision, your actions, your decisions, can go viral!

Skills and competencies
Bachelor degree with 6 or more years of experience in technical/sciences area, preferably in Computer Science or with a strong emphasis on IT;
Proven experience in the design and deployment of Tibco (businessWorks, Cloud Integration), and at least two of the following technologies: Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Java JMS, IBM Datapower, Webmethods;
In-depth experience of information technology and information security, including risk management, GDPR compliancy, robotization & process automation;
Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe or other agile methodologies and frameworks;
Knowledgeable about system integration, collaboration platforms, productivity tools, mobile platforms and cloud services;
Industry experience within Telco, Utilities, Manufacturing, Platform Players;
At least 3 years of experience working as a Technical Lead, IT architect, or Senior Consultant within Middleware, with a proven track record in managing architectural change in the context of service-based platforms and API platforms;
At least one of the Architecture Framework certifications (e.g. TOGAF, ZACHMAN, DYA);
Industry recognized technology certification (e.g. TMForum, TCP, MSCPA, MSCIA, etc.);
