Gross annual salary before tax: EUR 90.000 – EUR 110.000
As Distribution Manager, you are responsible for managing the major distributors in the Europe and Africa region in accordance with key account management principles. You develop and implement distribution management strategies, including reduction of complexity, adding value as sales channel, minimizing total cost of ownership, growth in the key segments, and safeguarding compliancy.
Your responsibilities include:
Deployment of distribution projects together with distributors and internal stakeholders
Implementing distribution and pricing contracts
Monitoring the market through the MAP (mutual action plan) tool.
Building on relationships within the distributor’s organization on all levels.
Ensuring the right knowledge level (technical, commercial and legal) of the distributor’s employees so that they can represent Nouryon according to our principles and values.
Safeguarding compliancy by having the right distribution contracts, end user statements and safety instruments in place.

Our Polymer Specialties business manufactures and supplies essential ingredients and sustainable solutions for the polymer industry. These are organic peroxides, co-catalysts (metal alkyls) and other specialty additives used in the production or processing of polymers. From construction materials, packaging and power distribution cables to yachts, automotive parts and shoe soles, our products help to meet the growing demands of the polymer industry.
Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible for this challenging position you bring at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing a large distribution network in an international environment.
Next to this, you:
Have a Master’s degree in science, preferably chemistry, Additional MBA/economic courses are a plus
Have knowledge of the Rubber, Polymer and Composites markets
Are fluent in English, and at least in one other language, for instance German or French
Have 5+ years b2b sales experience
Possess a can-do mentality, embracing challenging business targets
re open minded to diversity and cultural differences
Have excellent communication and presentation skills
Are open minded and possess a positive attitude to change management
Have strong prioritization, analytical and people management skills
You will travel in the EMEA and Africa region for approximately 50% of your time.
