    Job Description

    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    Supporting the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Internal Factories and Business Clusters through deployment of standard supplier and purchasing controls processes end to end from initial product design, manufacturing and solutions delivery to meet business and customer needs and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Manage a team of dedicated people within SQA to drive process effectivity and provide feedback from the user perspective to the central capability team for continual improvement of processes that enable products and services meet specification through our supplier base whilst accommodating the needs of the different business clusters within Health Systems and Personal Health.

    Establish the Approved Supplier List (ASL) for those entities within scope to ensure that Suppliers are appropriately qualified, classified and maintained for the products and services provided.

    Manage the performance review of suppliers in scope (including internal suppliers) to enable full transparency of suppliers’ performance across the ISC, internal factories and business clusters to ensure supplier improvement where necessary.

    Provide leadership and management support for the Global Supplier Quality Assurance team, driving collaboration across the SQA team and into the wider SQE community.

    Team up and partner with stakeholder functions and foster an environment to continuously improve process and practices though Lean and Daily Management.

    Instill a culture of personal growth within the team through continuous feedback, coaching and mentoring to further both individual and team competency.

    Successfully collaborating with Procurement, Operations, Q&R and other functions as necessary.

    You can work from our offices in Best, Eindhoven or Amsterdam.

    You are responsible for

    • Implementing Supplier Quality and Purchasing Controls processes across the Integrated Supply Chain and Internal Factories in line with New Product Introductions and global sourcing strategies.

    • Minimize complexity and maximize effectivity.

    • Liaising closely with the Global Supplier Quality leadership to ensure seamless introduction of processes and new IT support initiatives.

    • Working across the Integrated Supply Chain, Internal Factories and Business Clusters to facilitate new ways of working.

    • Ensuring effectiveness checks are in place to enable continual improvement of Supplier Quality performance.

    • Managing the communication of changes in relation to processes and supporting IT infrastructure to affected teams

    • Development and delivery of training programs to internal teams and suppliers on Philips Purchasing controls.

    • Coaching and training the Supplier Quality team in developing competencies and capabilities per procedures, holding people accountable to key milestones and commitments.

    • Developing and mentoring SQA direct report and others as appropriate.|

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Masters’ degree and 10-15 years’ experience in the medical device industry or highly regulated company such as automotive, aerospace or pharma industry.

    • Experience in Supplier Quality is required.

    • People manager, excellent communicator, strong leadership skills and management experience.

    • A strong Project Management background with a demonstrated track record in developing and delivering Projects and has lead complex program implementation.

    • Experienced in conflict management and managing multiple stakeholders (proven stakeholder management across multiple disciplines).

    • A leader that can handle and deal with ambiguity.

    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

    • Must be able to lead a team in a dynamic environment and interact effectively at all levels and across all functions within the organization.

    • Ability to manage & motivate a team in attainment of stretch targets across multiple sites.
