We are currently recruiting for a Director, Global Transparency Reporting (GTR) EMEA within the EMEA region.
This role is responsible for leading a team that provides oversight, expertise and operational excellence; and is a core member of the Health Care Compliance (HCC) GTR team leading the strategy, development, and implementation of Transparency Reporting for the EMEA region!
The GTR team is responsible for cooperating with internal partners to ensure that the development, implementation and execution of transfer of value reporting to external authorities, agencies, and government bodies are consistent and meet all country, industry and regulatory requirements. This is a key regional leadership role supporting all sectors (MD, Pharm and Consumer) and functions (Commercial, R&D and Supply chain) across EMEA to communicate and develop plans for meeting Johnson & Johnson’s transparency reporting requirements. The role requires a strategic leader focusing on continuous improvement and the development of innovative ways to access, consolidate, analyze and report relevant data sources by partnering across functional areas such as Information Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal etc. as well as positive relationship and influencing with internal and external partners.
Partner with HCC officers and regional business members to develop and execute a dynamic, risk-based external reporting strategy to ensure complaint reporting of transfers of value across all sectors (MD, Pharm, Consumer). Integrate insights from external partners through benchmarking, networking, industry associations etc. Influence external requirements for new or changing regulations through close collaboration with internal partners.
Execute on project plans and key results for Transparency Reporting in partnership with system’s owners. Partner with Regional HCC sector leads and senior business leaders to influence process changes to enable accurate reporting, while driving efficiencies.
Partner with GTR LT to craft the team’s vision, mission and strategy to ensure maximum value to our partners.
Demonstrate an operational excellence mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and learning. Includes evaluating current systems and data landscape, changing business environment, external regulatory requirements, and internal processes to drive reporting compliance.
Lead and develop the GTR EMEA team and ensure alignment to overall vision and results. Enable a team culture of innovation, accountability and development. Develop a high functioning team through talent and skill development through recruitment, training and coaching of team members.
Project management – sponsorship or leadership budget management and planning
Administrative activities related to self and team (e.g. Concur, Travel..)
Minimum of 10 years business experience required. Validated experience in HCC or a related compliance function (Regulatory, Quality, Finance) preferred.
Proven track record influencing senior leadership leading in cross sector/regional role preferred.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and implement process improvements for global, cross sector initiatives preferred.
Proven quantitative analytical skills preferred.
Familiarity with information management systems and applications for data collection and analysis preferred.
Ability to handle high level of complexity using independent judgment and latitude to make critical decisions preferred.
