To prepare for our future growth we are currently looking for a dynamic, analytical, driven, empathetic leader who can build and lead a world class Demand Planning & Fulfillment function for the EMEA region.
Our Operations mission is to transform the creation, delivery and support of the Sonos experience to accelerate profitable growth.
What You’ll Do
As the leader of the Business Operations team in Europe; the Director, EMEA Business Operations is the key business partner towards the EMEA Managing Director, Finance Controller, and Regional Go To Market leadership teams with regards to Business Planning, Forecasting and Fulfillment. This role reports into the Vice President of Business Operations.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Lead the regional forecasting, planning and allocation process - from process design to plan submission to its execution. This includes performance evaluation, validating financials in line with aspirations, support gap analysis and mitigation actions.
Lead the team responsible for EMEA fulfillment across all countries and channels.
Operations business partner in the regional leadership team - bridge between Business Operations functions and regional GTM teams, driving regional priorities into the global operations strategy and tactics and bringing operational input to regional GTM plans
Drive continuous improvement across EMEA business operations, including operational support for new business initiatives, systems implementations and process development required to support Sonos geography and/or channel expansion.
Performance management and reporting – regular, standard reports on performance and analysis of demand drivers to regional and Operational leadership team
Hire, develop and lead the EMEA Business Operations team. Lead with strategic & tactical direction as well provide clear goals, regular reviews, and active development plans
What You’ll Need
Must have a progressive career in demand planning, supply chain, regional operations, and experience leading large multi-site teams for a global organization, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
Deep understanding and 8+ years experience of Demand Planning, Integrated Business Planning and S&OP process and governance.
Strong Business Operations & Finance acumen, and proven ability to act as trusted advisor to cross-functional business partners. Financial background is a plus.
Must have a proven track record of team leadership and a passion for developing teams.
Builder who can architect and deliver a vision rather than an optimizer who is most effective optimizing an established process.
Highly articulate and able to relate to people at all levels of the organization; excellent communication skills.
Strong Analytical skill set with attention to detail.
Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
Commitment to collaboration & great skill in this area to (a) create a culture of collaboration amongst the Regional Operations Team and (b) work effectively & constructively with the other teams at Sonos.
