    Digital Monetization Manager

    As Digital Monetization Manager, you will be working at Ahold Delhaize. Approximately 370,000 employees worldwide serve over 50 million customers a week. On a somewhat smaller scale, you will be working with 1,500 colleagues in Zaandam, the Netherlands.     Your new workplace will be at our bustling head office, right next to the Zaandam train station. More specifically, on the [ordinal number + 1] floor in the Global Support Office (GSO). Everything you do with your colleagues is directly visible in our stores and for people at home. Curious who you will be working with directly? The Digital Engagement Team, where you will be a part of, is responsible for increasing monetization for all brands of Ahold Delhaize mainly through marketing and data assets. This way creating the fuel needed to grow the omnichannel business at each of our local brands. You are in direct contact with the teams at our brands who are driving monetization at a local level. Furthermore, you will work closely with several internal departments such as IT, Security, Legal, Communications, Finance and external parties like media agencies and solution partners, to identify, develop and grow our monetized propositions.

And specifically for this vacancy as a Digital Monetization Manager, you have strong social and transformational skills and the ability to easily adapt to changes, while staying focused. You supplement these skills with:


    • a master’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant work experience in (digital) advertising and media, retail media publisher monetization, yield management, (digital) advertising operations and/or sales.

    • demonstrated experience in not only media-related data, but also overall strategic data insights and deployment within a global retail company.

    • the ability to lead retail media and data monetization teams through giving strategic directions, setting goals, training and aid in accelerating developments as well as revenue generation.

    • a demonstrated ability to grow a business idea from start to maturity and effectively manage through the various stages of a product lifecycle.

    • in depth knowledge about advertising solutions and marketing automation, particularly within retail applications.

    • knowledge about retail media & monetization trends and best practices, online and offline media measurement, and media specific “Data Management Platforms” (DMP).

    • being comfortable with developing partnerships and working together with key stakeholders in a consultative manner.
