    Desktop Engineer

    Desktop Engineer (Windows,Apple, VmWare,Powershell)

    Are you the enthusiastic desktop engineer we are looking for, to join the Managed Device Services operations team in PwC's internal IT department?

    This team is responsible for the management of all Windows, Apple and Android client devices as well as Virtual Desktops, Google Collaboration Suite, Lotus Notes and Automation.

    A key user quality for any new colleague is; being able to work independently in projects, but without losing contact with your colleagues. We act in our team together and we try to prevent anyone from becoming "indispensable" for a specific service. Together in this team, we have to keep up the quality of our work on the high standards expected at PwC and so; as team-members we're always challenging each other to improve in our expertise areas.

    We are looking for an all round engineer with a strong focus on VMWare Virtual desktop infrastructure on-premise and azure hosted.

    Who are you?

    • You have demonstrable (at least 5 year) experience with professional support of client devices, virtualization, application packaging and powershell automation in an Enterprise environment

    • You have experience in complex infrastructures, monitoring and management tools (W10, GPO, AD, SCCM, WSUS, VMWare vSphere , VMWare Workspace One and powershell)

    • You are familiar with ITIL, project management and IT-security concepts

    • You have the ability to rapidly come to speed, and are able to join projects on VMWare Workspace One, Azure VDI, Microsoft , etc... and add value to the teams.

    • You are fluent in English and Dutch, available for 40 hours per week and living within the Randstad
